This role works closely with overseas factories-primarily in China-to ensure product availability, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery, while cross-functionally supporting internal teams such as Product Development, Creative and Logistics. Key ResponsibilitiesCommunicate daily with overseas factories to manage orders, timelines, and production updatesNegotiate and finalize purchase pricing, terms, and agreements with suppliersIssue purchase orders and monitor progress to ensure on-time deliveryCoordinate with Product Development and Creative teams to align on product specifications and timelinesBuild and maintain strong relationships with overseas suppliers and partnersTrack open orders, proactively identify delays, and implement solutions to meet shipping deadlinesResolve discrepancies related to pricing, invoices, quality issues, and production concerns Qualifications & RequirementsEligible to work in the USA is requiredMinimum 3 years of purchasing or sourcing experience in an import/trading or consumer products environmentStrong experience working with overseas factories, preferably in ChinaFluent in English and Mandarin (required)Proven negotiation skills with a strong understanding of cost structures and pricingExperience with tabletop products (dinnerware, flatware, glassware) a plusSolid knowledge of production timelines and factory processesExcellent organizational, follow-up, and project management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with tight deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)High attention to detail and strong analytical skills Key CompetenciesStrong communication and relationship managementResults-driven with a sense of urgencyDetail-oriented and highly organizedCollaborative team player across departments
