Job Description Summary:
The Buyer / Planner provides day‑to‑day tactical support for purchasing and production planning activities to ensure material availability and smooth production execution. It also fills a logistics lead role in logistics by overseeing daily activities related to inventory management, shipping, receiving, and returns.
This role ensures that materials, components, and finished goods are handled efficiently, accurately, and safely to support production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
This role focuses on purchase order processing, schedule maintenance, data accuracy, and cross‑functional coordination rather than supplier strategy or demand ownership. The position works closely with buyers, planners, production, and inventory teams to help meet customer delivery commitments.
