Responsibilities

• Develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned with company goals, utilizing systems such as SAP, APEX, or equivalent ERP platforms.
• Manage vendor communication to negotiate prices, contracts, delivery schedules, and service levels, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company policies.
• Utilize purchasing management systems supported by technical teams to process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
• Analyze Excel data and spreadsheets to evaluate supplier performance, pricing trends, and procurement metrics for continuous improvement.
• Maintain comprehensive records of contracts, purchase orders, vendor communications, and procurement documentation in accordance with company standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, APEX, or similar platforms in a purchasing or materials management capacity.
• Strong knowledge of materials management principles including inventory control, logistics, supply chain management, and procurement best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with vendors to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
• Proficiency in using spreadsheets (Excel) for data analysis, reporting, and decision-making purposes.
• Familiarity with purchasing management systems supported by technical teams for seamless procurement operations.
• Excellent communication skills for vendor relationship management and internal collaboration across departments.
• Experience working with accounting software or vendor negotiation tools is a plus.
