Purchasing Clerk

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing organization to identify a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This is an excellent entry-level role for someone looking to get into purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with creating and processing purchase orders for materials, supplies, and services
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor information
  • Communicate with vendors regarding order status, pricing, and discrepancies
  • Support inventory tracking and help coordinate supply levels
  • Perform data entry and maintain purchasing systems and spreadsheets
  • Assist in comparing quotes and identifying cost-effective purchasing options
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, accounting, warehouse) to support purchasing needs

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years of experience in administration, customer service, data entry, or related role
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive, process-driven tasks
  • Exposure to purchasing, inventory, or supply chain processes
  • Experience working with vendors or coordinating orders
  • Background in manufacturing, logistics, or operations environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work with vendors and internal teams
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly

Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $52,000.00 per year
