Purchasing Clerk (Temporary)
Pay Rate: $23.00$25.00 per hour
Schedule: MondayFriday | 4 hours per day, 8am to 12pm

Job Summary
The Purchasing Clerk provides administrative support to the purchasing department by assisting with filing, scanning, emailing, and supplier communications. This is a temporary, entry-level role ideal for candidates with minimal prior experience who are organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
Essential Functions
Scan and file purchase orders generated by the purchasing team
Review low inventory reports and communicate with suppliers regarding updated delivery dates
Expedite overdue shipments as directed
Receive confirmed delivery dates from suppliers and update internal systems accordingly
Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned by Purchasing Management
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED
Previous administrative or purchasing support experience is a plus
