Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a reliable Maintenance Purchasing Coordinator in Lawrenceville, Ga . In this role, you will serve as the liaison between the Maintenance department and vendors while supporting purchasing, receiving, inventory management, and day-to-day operations in a manufacturing environment. In a Maintenance Purchasing & Receiving Coordinator job, you’ll be responsible for:
Receiving shipments ordered by the Maintenance Manager, physically counting items, and reporting any missing materials.
Entering newly received items into stock and maintaining accurate inventory.
Communicating with vendors by phone and email and following up as needed.
Providing Accounts Payable with packing lists daily and obtaining missing documentation from vendors.
Creating purchase orders for onsite vendors such as Fastenal.
Monitoring material supplies and reporting inventory needs to management.
What you’ll need:
Basic knowledge of purchasing procedures, pricing, and market trends.
Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and purchasing/accounts payable software.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and regularly climb stairs and maneuver around equipment.
Schedule and Pay:
Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
$19-$21/hr.
