Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join their team. As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will be part of the Stafford Purchasing team supporting procurement and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Support the Stafford Purchasing team in daily procurement activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain and update SAP purchasing attributes for new part number setups.
  • Assist buyers with lead-time improvement initiatives and order tracking.
  • Develop and nurture positive relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains.
  • Monitor purchase orders, follow up on shipments, and resolve issues promptly.

What's Needed?

  • Associates degree or equivalent educational background.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related work experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of production planning, inventory management, scheduling, and lean principles.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
