The City of Sterling Heights is seeking an organized and goal-oriented individual to join the Purchasing Office as a Purchasing Coordinator!
Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Purchasing Manager, the Purchasing Coordinator is a subject matter expert providing oversight and support in the planning, coordinating, and administration of purchasing activities. The Purchasing Coordinator will provide oversight and support in the purchasing of supplies, material, equipment, and services in order to support and enhance the delivery of City services. This individual will maintain a variety of purchasing related files, lists, and forms and will respond to inquiries and provide guidance and information regarding purchasing activities.
