We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Purchasing & Inventory Manager to join our team. This is a permanent role that involves overseeing the company's supply chain, procurement operations, inventory management, and vendor relationships. You will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of all purchasing and inventory control activities, ensuring optimal cost management, and maintaining top-notch service levels.

Purchasing Systems, Process & Controls (25%)
Procurement Oversight & Direct Execution (25%)
Inventory Control, Demand Planning & Price Book (20%)
Vendor Sourcing, Negotiation & Cost Management (15%)
Fleet, Uniforms & PPE (10%)
Leadership, Reporting & Continuous Improvement (5%)

1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the purchasing and inventory department.
2. Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
3. Lead the procurement process, including sourcing, RFQ, negotiations, and issuance of Purchase Orders.
4. Collaborate with key stakeholders to forecast demand and ensure adequate stock levels.
5. Develop and manage relationships with vendors, ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery of goods.
6. Implement and manage the Warehouse Management system to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
7. Conduct regular inventory audits to prevent discrepancies and loss.
8. Develop and execute cost reduction strategies and efficiency improvements.
9. Oversee the fleet and equipment maintenance programs, including preventative maintenance.
10. Utilize Service Titan and other systems to streamline operations and improve service levels.
11. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement.
12. Lead, mentor, and develop the purchasing and inventory team.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, or a similar role in the Engineering industry.
3. Proven experience in procurement, RFQ, issuing Purchase Orders, vendor management, and Warehouse Management.
4. Demonstrated ability in managing and forecasting inventory.
5. Proficiency in using Service Titan or similar operations management software.
6. Strong negotiation skills and experience with B2B relationships.
7. Solid knowledge of fleet and equipment maintenance, including preventative measures.
8. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
9. Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
11. Knowledge of industry-specific materials and service requirements.
12. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
