About the Role: We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Purchasing & Inventory Manager to join our team in Mountainside, NJ. Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end purchasing processes, including vendor sourcing, purchase order creation, and order tracking
Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet business demand while minimizing excess stock
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies in a timely manner
Analyze purchasing trends and inventory data to forecast needs and identify cost-saving opportunities
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure product availability aligns with project timelines and customer orders
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory within company systems
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, or supply chain operations
Strong proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent negotiation and vendor relationship management skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Experience in a retail, home décor, or specialty products environment is a plus
Able to travel 20% of the time
