Salary Range: $81,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Grand Rapids seeking Purchasing Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost and quality.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation.
  • Oversee inventory levels and procurement processes to ensure timely material availability.
  • Lead and mentor a team of purchasing professionals.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering to forecast material needs and identify new suppliers.
  • Monitor market trends and raw material prices to mitigate supply chain risks.
Recommended Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
