Onsite | 6-Month Contract Assignment

Lamboo Medical is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to support procurement and supply chain operations. This role will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services while ensuring quality, cost, and delivery objectives are met. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver who can build strong supplier relationships and support a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You''ll Do

• Source and purchase raw materials, components, packaging, equipment, and services needed to support operations
• Create, maintain, and monitor purchase orders while ensuring compliance with purchasing procedures
• Review inventory levels, forecasts, and production schedules to determine purchasing requirements
• Monitor supplier pricing, lead times, delivery schedules, and quality performance
• Expedite critical orders and resolve shortages, delays, pricing discrepancies, and supplier-related issues
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, minimum order quantities, and supplier agreements
• Partner with Production, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to support production requirements and new product introductions
• Evaluate supplier quotations and make sourcing recommendations based on cost, quality, service, and delivery performance
• Support supplier qualification, audits, and performance improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, pricing data, and procurement documentation within ERP/MRP systems
• Analyze purchasing and supplier performance data to identify cost-saving and continuous improvement opportunities
• Assist with inventory management efforts focused on reducing shortages, excess inventory, and obsolete materials
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Support strategic sourcing, supply continuity, and cost reduction initiatives

What We''re Looking For

• Bachelor''s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience
• Experience within manufacturing, construction, commercial construction, industrial, medical device, or related environments strongly preferred
• Experience managing purchase orders and procurement activities within ERP or MRP systems
• Knowledge of purchasing principles, inventory management, material planning, and supplier management
• Experience negotiating pricing, lead times, supplier agreements, and payment terms
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and bills of materials
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within a regulated manufacturing or medical device environment
• Knowledge of FDA, ISO 13485, GMP, and supplier quality requirements
• Experience with supplier qualification, supplier performance management, and corrective action processes
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and inventory planning tools
• Understanding of strategic sourcing, total cost analysis, and cost-reduction methodologies
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
• Proven negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and quality standards
