Assist in establishing and shaping the purchasing department for the companys U.S. manufacturing plant. Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective availability and high-quality procurement of raw materials, equipment, and services. Collaborate with production quality assurance and corporate teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

 

Analyze and manage inventory levels to optimize working capital and production efficiency. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships that align with company values and quality standards. Monitor market trends, assess supplier performance, and identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities.

 

Accurately process purchase orders through the companys ERP system and handle related administrative tasks.

Your profile:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred • 2 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment preferred • Strong negotiation skills with an understanding of contract law • Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving and time management skills • High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities • Hands-on mentality with a positive attitude and strong communication skills • Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office

 

This role requires daily onsite presence at the Moorefield, WV location.
