Are you a Purchasing Manager who knows that the best-laid production plan can change before lunch? We’re looking for an experienced manufacturing purchasing leader who can keep raw materials flowing, inventory balanced, and production moving—even when supply issues or last-minute changes require a quick pivot.

This is a highly visible role reporting to the General Manager and leading a team of 8–10 across purchasing, planning, inventory, warehouse, and related functions.

What you'll do as the Purchasing Manager:

· Lead direct procurement for a high-volume manufacturing operation with a large number of SKUs and purchased items.

· Manage the flow of raw ingredients and materials through production to finished goods.

· Respond quickly when ingredient availability, production schedules, or priorities change.

· Oversee purchasing, inventory, planning, and material availability to support production needs.

· Manage perishable/raw ingredients where shelf life and expiration dates are critical.

· Lead and develop a team across purchasing, planning, inventory, and warehouse operations.

· Work closely with plant leadership to resolve supply challenges and keep operations on schedule.

· Participate in monthly inventory counts at the plant and warehouse locations.

What we are looking for in the Purchasing Manager:

· Bachelor’s degree required.

· Strong direct procurement experience within a manufacturing facility.

· Experience purchasing and managing a large volume of SKUs/ of raw ingredients/materials through finished goods.

· Demonstrated ability to react to last-minute production, planning, and supply changes without losing momentum.

· Experience with purchasing, inventory management, production planning, and material flow.

· Experience managing perishable or time-sensitive raw materials.

· Previous leadership experience with purchasing, planning, inventory, and/or warehouse teams.

· Someone who can plan ahead—but is equally comfortable changing that plan when manufacturing demands it!
