An established and growing luxury residential builder is seeking a Purchasing Manager to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a purchasing professional who enjoys process improvement, technology, collaboration, and working in a high-quality custom home environment.
This company is looking for someone with a modern mindset who is excited to leverage technology and AI to improve purchasing and estimating processes. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative, team-focused culture.
Responsibilities
- Manage purchasing activities from contract through construction.
- Solicit bids and negotiate with trade partners and suppliers.
- Issue purchase orders and coordinate material procurement.
- Support estimating with pricing updates and cost analysis.
- Maintain vendor relationships and ensure competitive pricing.
- Track budgets, job costs, and purchasing schedules.
- Identify process improvements and help develop technology-driven purchasing systems.
- Partner with construction, estimating, accounting, and leadership to support successful project delivery.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of residential purchasing, estimating, or procurement experience.
- Experience with custom, luxury, semi-custom, or design-build residential construction preferred.
- Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Knowledge of residential construction methods and materials.
- Experience with Buildertrend, Excel, and other construction software.
- Comfortable learning and utilizing AI and emerging technologies.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary competitive and based on experience.
