Purchasing/Material Associate

FLEXCO MICROWAVE INC is looking for a detail-oriented and driven Purchasing/Material Associate to join our team in Port Murray, NJ. Responsibilities:

• Source, negotiate, and issue purchase orders for raw materials, components, and supplies
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and minimize shortages
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to track deliveries and resolve discrepancies
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to align material availability with manufacturing schedules
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, documentation, and supplier databases
• Evaluate supplier performance and assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities
• Process receiving documentation and reconcile purchase orders with incoming shipments

Requirements:
    

• Familiarity with supply chain processes and inventory control principles
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Effective communication skills for vendor and cross-departmental coordination
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• 1-3 years experience.
