Our client, a well‑established leading local company, is seeking a professional Purchasing Replenishment Clerk to support its Purchasing team. The primary responsibility of the Purchasing Replenishment Clerk is to coordinate materials to various locations. Interact across the multiple departments to ensure materials are available for planned production. To maintain proper inventory and communicate to suppliers based on demands. This can be a fast-paced position that requires attention to detail while maintaining quality and professionalism.
Review forecast and inventory, determine delivery dates, and place purchase orders with suppliers.
Reviews inventory levels on a weekly basis and adjusts as needed.
Performs necessary changes to maintain accuracy of essential information such as pricing, pallet quantities, unit of measure, etc.
Maintain all necessary files for replenishment.
Maintain off-site bulk orders.
Develop and maintain internal and external relationships, including suppliers.
Maintain system master data, including but not limited to pricing, units of measure, vendors, ordering parameters (minimums/multiples).
Performs any other related duties as assigned by Purchasing Managers.
Top Required Skills
Knowledge and proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and other Windows based programs, including Outlook. Experience with ERP/MRP system desirable; Microsoft NAV preferred.
Advanced Excel Skills preferred with proficiency in functions and formulas (i.e. VLOOKUP, pivot tables, SUMIF formulas).
Basic understanding of purchasing principles and general accounting procedures and rules.
Knowledge of problem-solving techniques, researching, and determining the most appropriate course of action and best resolution.
Demonstrate the ability to communicate and apply broad computer technology in a wide array of functional areas.
