Duties - Manage end-to-end procurement processes using ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS, including requisitioning, purchase order creation, and contract management.
- Source suppliers through effective sourcing strategies, evaluate vendor proposals, and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure the best value for the company.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain teams to forecast needs using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools and ensure inventory control aligns with production schedules.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships by conducting regular supplier evaluations, managing vendor performance, and resolving issues related to quality or delivery.
- Oversee procurement documentation, including contracts, purchase agreements, and compliance records, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal standards.
- Monitor procurement metrics such as cost savings, lead times, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate logistics activities related to inbound shipments and inventory management to optimize supply chain efficiency.
Requirements - Proven experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle EBS is essential for managing procurement workflows effectively.
- Strong knowledge of procurement management principles including sourcing strategies, contract negotiation, vendor management, and supply chain processes.
- Familiarity with inventory management techniques and tools used in manufacturing environments to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable pricing and contractual terms.
- Ability to analyze supply chain data using procurement metrics to drive strategic decisions.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders across departments.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
