Pay Rate: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday | 6:00 PM - 3:00 AM

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to support purchasing operations, vendor management, and inventory-related processes. This role is responsible for obtaining competitive pricing, maintaining supplier relationships, tracking deliveries, resolving purchasing issues, and ensuring purchasing records remain accurate and up to date. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Job Duties

• Obtain and negotiate competitive bids and quotes from vendors
• Follow up with suppliers regarding deliveries and order status
• Resolve purchasing discrepancies and contract-related issues
• Maintain purchasing records, supplier information, and material data
• Support inventory rotation and monitor product dates as needed
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Assist with audits and compliance activities
• Follow established purchasing procedures, work instructions, and policies
• Keep the purchasing work area organized and efficient
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations
• Contract negotiation experience preferred
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Windows-based applications
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to work with units of measure

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of purchasing principles and vendor management
• Experience working with audits and compliance requirements
• Strategic thinking with the ability to execute day-to-day purchasing activities
