Under general supervision, this position supports the healthcare organizations non-clinical purchasing activities. This position will focus on non-clinical purchasing, managing the travel program, and the procurement card (P-Card) program with a strong emphasis on compliance, cost-effectiveness, and stakeholder service. Hourly Pay Rate: $24.00 - $35.40 Qualifications Education: Requires a high school diploma or GED. A bachelors degree in business or a related field is preferred. Experience: Two years of experience with travel and procurement card programs required. Purchasing procedure experience preferred as it relates to enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and demonstrates an understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Knowledge, Skills Abilities: Must have excellent communication, organizing, time management, and interpersonal skills. Requires the ability to work independently with limited guidance, and to negotiate and work with professionals. Requires a working knowledge of contract analysis and reporting. Must have strong computer skills in MS Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook. Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
