Primary Responsibilities Leads safe and efficient purchasing and storeroom operations by managing team performance, procurement, inventory, and supplier relationships to ensure a safe workplace and uninterrupted site-wide supply chain execution.

Team Leadership & Development - Supervise daily purchasing and storeroom operations, manage team schedules, and provide ongoing training and professional development to drive performance and growth. Procurement & Supplier Management - Source materials, equipment, and services to meet specifications and delivery requirements at the lowest delivered cost; lead supplier selection, performance evaluation, and relationship development; negotiate pricing, contracts, and freight terms. Inventory & Asset Control - Ensure accurate inventory management, oversee MRO contract services, and utilize advanced Maximo functions including VMI, asset repairs, and mobile equipment tracking to maintain efficient material flow. Corporate Initiatives & Issue Resolution - Serve as the site point of contact for all corporate supply chain initiatives, drive change management, resolve blocked invoices and supplier performance issues, and deliver detailed analysis to internal customers.

Job Qualifications Required:

High school diploma or equivalent 5+ years of purchasing experience buying electrical, mechanical, and construction materials in aconstruction or manufacturing environment Understanding of commonly used business concepts, practices, and procedures Maximo or a related ERP system

Preferred:

Experience as a buyer or planner in a high-volume manufacturing environment Experience as a buyer in the wood products or construction industry College degree preferred or consideration of 5+ years of purchasing experience in lieu of a degree
