Overview

We are partnering with a confidential client to identify an Accounts Payable & Purchasing Supervisor to lead day-to-day procure-to-pay operations and supervise a small AP team. This role is responsible for invoice processing, purchasing workflow support, vendor relationships, internal controls, and month-end close support, working closely with Operations and Accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end accounts payable processing including invoice intake, coding, three-way matching, approvals, and payment support

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing in the ERP system (Oracle Fusion Cloud preferred)

  • Review and approve invoices, vendor setup and maintenance, and payment runs

  • Resolve invoice discrepancies, pricing/quantity variances, and vendor inquiries

  • Monitor AP aging, credits, and past-due items and proactively follow up to prevent delays

  • Support purchasing policies and Delegation of Authority by reviewing requisitions, purchase orders, and changes

  • Partner with Operations and other departments to confirm receipt of goods and services

  • Ensure compliance with SOX, segregation of duties, and internal control requirements

  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and support audits as needed

  • Support month-end close, AP reporting, reconciliations, and accrual identification

  • Supervise and develop AP staff, including work prioritization, training, and KPI tracking

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field

  • 5+ years of accounts payable and procure-to-pay experience; supervisory or lead experience preferred

  • ERP experience required (Oracle Fusion Cloud strongly preferred)

  • Strong understanding of three-way match, DOA, SOX, and AP controls

  • Detail-oriented with strong ownership and follow-through

  • Able to manage deadlines and support extended hours during close periods

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
