Overview
We are partnering with a confidential client to identify an Accounts Payable & Purchasing Supervisor to lead day-to-day procure-to-pay operations and supervise a small AP team. This role is responsible for invoice processing, purchasing workflow support, vendor relationships, internal controls, and month-end close support, working closely with Operations and Accounting.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end accounts payable processing including invoice intake, coding, three-way matching, approvals, and payment support
Ensure timely and accurate processing in the ERP system (Oracle Fusion Cloud preferred)
Review and approve invoices, vendor setup and maintenance, and payment runs
Resolve invoice discrepancies, pricing/quantity variances, and vendor inquiries
Monitor AP aging, credits, and past-due items and proactively follow up to prevent delays
Support purchasing policies and Delegation of Authority by reviewing requisitions, purchase orders, and changes
Partner with Operations and other departments to confirm receipt of goods and services
Ensure compliance with SOX, segregation of duties, and internal control requirements
Maintain audit-ready documentation and support audits as needed
Support month-end close, AP reporting, reconciliations, and accrual identification
Supervise and develop AP staff, including work prioritization, training, and KPI tracking
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
5+ years of accounts payable and procure-to-pay experience; supervisory or lead experience preferred
ERP experience required (Oracle Fusion Cloud strongly preferred)
Strong understanding of three-way match, DOA, SOX, and AP controls
Detail-oriented with strong ownership and follow-through
Able to manage deadlines and support extended hours during close periods
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
