Job Description

Essential Functions:

  • Assist the Purchasing Unit with daily administrative and operational tasks related to residential mortgage loan purchases.
  • Support mail intake and document workflow by opening, sorting and distributing incoming purchasing mail, while monitoring emails and loan documentation to ensure timely processing. Create and organize electronic and physical loan folders for mortgage notes received from warehouse lenders. Review loan files to ensure documents are properly identified, coded within internal systems.
  • Support the distribution and tracking of loan files and mortgage notes throughout the purchase process.
  • Assist with splitting, organizing and maintain daily loan queues and workflow assignments.  purchase files daily as purchase submissions are received in the queue of the loan system.
  • Assist with preparing and distributing weekly mortgage note reports to trustee and review documentation for accuracy prior to delivery.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. Employee is required to work at the Harrisburg, PA office during scheduled business hours.
  • Employee may be required to telework or be required to work a combination of teleworking and working at the physical location of the Harrisburg, PA office.

Job Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in business, finance, real estate or related field.
  • Strong interest in mortgage operations, housing finance or business administration. 

Knowledge/Skills:                                                                                                                                                         

  • Ability to multi-task efficiently and exercise initiative and sound judgment in handling work assignments.
  • Computer proficiency required in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and data entry. Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Effective customer service skills.
