The PVA Production Associate is responsible for assembling and packing PVA bags according to established procedures and quality standards. They will work closely with other PVA team members to help them learn and maintain production rates, ensuring consistent quality. This position is designed to promote the quality and production standards set by Paceline, providing consistent attention to detail and promoting a safe work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform assembly and packing operations according to established procedures and quality standards
Ensure that PVA bags are sealed properly and free of defects (CEs)
Label and package finished products for shipment
Operate equipment used in the assembly and packing process
Create (make) all size bags, operating any of the PVA machines
Able to make PVA bags for high standard customers
Maintain average production rates based on the following guidelines:
Complete CEs at a rate of 120-135 bags/hr
Make small size PVA bags at a rate of 80-100 bags/hr
Make large size PVA bags at a rate of 55-60 bags/hr
Train new team members in operating equipment safely and efficiently
Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on equipment
Maintain accurate production records
Follow safety procedures and guidelines
Keep work area clean and organized
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
