Title: Operations Analyst (Client Onboarding)
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Hourly Pay: $23/hr
Duration: 7 Months

Job Summary

Join the Client Onboarding team within Operations, where you'll support the setup of new client accounts while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies. You'll work closely with internal teams to deliver a seamless onboarding experience, maintain data integrity, and support process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and process new client account documentation and onboarding requests.
  • Understand various client account structures and required documentation.
  • Perform due diligence reviews for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Client (KYC) compliance.
  • Coordinate with advisor teams to ensure client documentation is complete and submitted on time.
  • Request and process account products such as options, margin, checking, and debit cards.
  • Ensure downstream systems accurately recognize approved products and services.
  • Resolve onboarding issues by collaborating with Compliance, Legal, AML, and Operations teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve onboarding workflows and processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and web-based applications.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing client expectations and working collaboratively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in the financial services industry, particularly in Client Onboarding, AML, or Compliance.
  • FINRA Series 7, 9, 10, or 4 licenses (preferred).
  • Foreign language proficiency is a plus.
