Job Title: -Python Automation Developer
Location: -Ottawa, ON (Onsite)
Duration :12+Months Contract (With Possibility of extension)
Pay Rate Range: $40-60 /hr on T4 Only

POSITION: Software Automation Test Developer POSITION SUMMARY: The successful candidate will be part of the Test Automation & Tools Development team, involved in delivering software solutions that enable automated testing of the latest automotive infotainment and connectivity technologies.
You will develop and maintain automated test scripts, a test framework, and test tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Interface with development and test teams to understand testing requirements, and implement required test tools and tests scripts
  • Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with target under test ¿ Develop and maintain software tools and features to assist in automated testing
  • Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with test management system and defect tracking system
  • Contribute to team deliverable through involvement in agile scrum development sprints
Skills Required:
  • Python, .Net Framework, Test Automation
Skills Preferred:
  • REST APIs, Jira, SQL, Test Cases
Experience Required:
  • 3+ years of experience in Python development
  • Experience with automated testing environment and frameworks (ie, Slash)
  • Experience with continuous integration system (Jenkins)
  • Analytical with the ability to produce creative and effective software solutions to problems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem-solving
Experience Preferred:
  • Experience with REST APIs, and interfacing with Test Case management system (ie: TestRail) and Defect Tracking system (ie: JIRA) - Experience with database (SQL)
  • Ability to work in a multi-site team environment where self-driven and self-motivated
