Job Description
Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Python / Azure Databricks Engineer – Cloud & Data Engineering for their Tempe, AZ/ Fort Worth, TX/ Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Python, Java Spring boot.
- Lead the migration of existing Java/Spring Boot applications to Python-based architecture.
- Implement cloud-native solutions using Azure Functions and Azure App Services.
- Build scalable data engineering and data processing solutions using Azure Databricks.
- Must have hands on experience using Gen AI tools like GitHub CoPilot
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to define technical solutions.
- Design REST APIs and microservices following best practices.
- Integrate applications with Azure services, databases, messaging systems, and third-party platforms.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in CI/CD implementation and DevOps automation.
- Ensure application security, scalability, reliability, and operational excellence
Requirements:
- Primary skills (must have):
- Strong hands-on experience in Python Development
- Extensive experience with Azure Databricks
- Strong knowledge of Java Springboot
- Experience designing and developing ETL/Data Engineering solutions
