Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Python Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Python frameworks, databases, RESTful APIs, and cloud-based deployments. You will work closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, QA, and product teams to build reliable and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain backend services using Python.

• Design and implement RESTful APIs.

• Build scalable and secure web applications.

• Optimize application performance and database queries.

• Integrate third-party APIs and services.

• Collaborate with frontend developers and cross-functional teams.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.

• Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices.

• Ensure application security and data protection.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python.

• Experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

• Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture.

• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.

• Familiarity with ORM libraries such as SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.

• Knowledge of Git and version control.

• Understanding of authentication methods such as JWT and OAuth.

• Experience with Docker and containerization.

• Basic understanding of Linux environments.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Redis, Celery, or RabbitMQ.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with Kubernetes.

• Understanding of caching strategies.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 2–5 years of experience in backend development using Python.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with GraphQL.

• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as PyTest.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.

• Exposure to AI/ML integrations is a plus.
