JOB TITLE:      Senior Python Developer   (No C2C, only W2)
LOCATION:    Remote from the USA – Eastern/Central Time zone

JOB SUMMARY:   Theoris is seeking a Python Developer for a 4–6 month contract engagement to support a critical feature delivery. This role will work closely with the backend engineering team to help strengthen Python development practices, improve deployment automation, and support applications hosted in AWS.  This is a hands-on technical role for someone who can quickly assess existing architecture, guide developers on best practices, and help accelerate delivery in a fast-paced environment.
 
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support and enhance Python-based applications and deployment processes in an AWS environment
  • Work closely with backend developers to improve Python architecture, coding standards, and overall implementation approach
  • Assist with deployment automation and server-side scripting using Python
  • Review existing Python code and provide recommendations for scalability, maintainability, and performance
  • Help mentor and guide team members who are still ramping up on Python technologies
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and meet aggressive delivery timelines
 
 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python development (7 years) in enterprise environments
  • Background in deployment automation, scripting, and server-side development using Python
  • Ability to evaluate and guide/train python best practices to other developers
  • Experience working with applications hosted in AWS
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience working in Agile environments
