Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Python development with the ability to build scalable data processing and reporting solutions.
- Experience working with trading data, market data, transaction data, and financial reporting systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, and SQLAlchemy for data analysis and processing.
- Expertise in SQL and working with relational databases for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- Experience developing automated reporting, dashboards, and analytics solutions for business stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, trading operations, trade lifecycle, and market data concepts.
- Experience in data validation, reconciliation, and ensuring data quality across trading and reporting platforms.
- Hands-on experience with ETL processes, data automation, and workflow optimization.
- Proven experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python-based solutions to support trading data analysis, reporting, and operational processes.
- Design and build automated reporting frameworks to deliver timely and accurate business insights.
- Analyze trading datasets and transform complex data into meaningful reports and actionable recommendations.
- Develop data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from multiple internal and external data sources.
- Work closely with Front Office, Operations, Risk, and Finance teams to understand reporting requirements and business objectives.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of trading and market data through validation and reconciliation processes.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions for business stakeholders.
- Optimize existing reporting processes through automation and process improvements.
- Troubleshoot data-related issues and perform root cause analysis to resolve reporting discrepancies.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Maintain technical documentation and ensure adherence to development and governance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data and reporting solutions that support financial markets operations.
