Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Lead (Python) contractor to lead a team of 7+ developers in the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical leader with strong architecture, development, and team leadership experience in complex, fast-paced environments. This role requires balancing technical execution, delivery oversight, stakeholder engagement, and team mentoring while driving high-quality solutions from inception through production deployment. Lead a team of 7+ developers across multiple projects and workstreams. Provide technical leadership, solution design, architecture guidance, and code reviews. Design, develop, and implement scalable Python-based applications and services. Drive delivery using Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices. Partner with Product Owners, Architects, Delivery Leads, and business stakeholders to define requirements and delivery plans. Ensure adherence to enterprise standards for coding, security, compliance, testing, and production support. Manage technical risks, dependencies, and issue resolution. Mentor and coach team members on engineering best practices, design patterns, and development processes. Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and execution activities.
