Seeking a Senior Python Backend Engineer to develop and maintain data-driven backend services for complex analytics and decision-support systems in a cloud environment.
Design, build, and extend backend services using Python and FastAPI, develop and integrate REST APIs, and translate data science models into scalable solutions.
Work within existing codebases to improve functionality, stability, and resolve issues, collaborating with Data Science and Analytics teams.
Ensure production readiness with proper error handling, logging, and performance optimization, supporting deployments in AWS and CI/CD pipelines.
Document system architecture and data flows, communicate progress proactively, and work independently.
Required skills include strong Python backend experience, REST API design, AWS support, and basic DevOps knowledge.
Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with Dataiku DSS and experience in pharma or life sciences.
