Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Python Full Stack Developer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable observability solutions, developing data pipelines, and enabling real-time monitoring across cloud environments.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Python Full Stack Developer Job Responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop scalable observability platforms, including data pipelines for metrics, logs, and traces.

  • Build and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs using Python and cloud-native technologies (GCP/AWS/Azure).

  • Develop and optimize data processing workflows using tools like BigQuery and Pub/Sub.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system monitoring, performance, and developer experience.

  • Implement testing, CI/CD pipelines, and automation to ensure high-quality and reliable deployments.

  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and enhance reliability through observability tools and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred).

  • 5-8 years of experience in software engineering or platform engineering roles.

  • Strong expertise in Python, cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure), and microservices architecture with hands-on experience building data pipelines and observability solutions.

  • Proven experience in API development, CI/CD pipelines, and working with modern data/monitoring tools (BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Datadog/Dynatrace) to deliver scalable and high-performance systems.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
