Description

Python Software DeveloperLocation: Springfield, VAEligibility: Candidate must possess an active TS/SCI clearance and be willing to obtain a CI PolygraphJob Description:- Researches, designs, develops, tests, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software- Analyzes user/business software system requirements and determines needs- Determine the functionality of an application and performs upgrades over time- Maintains documentation to support software development policies, standards, and procedures- Establish and improve system monitoring while maintaining established security protocols within development, test, and production systems- Works under the guidance of the Scrum Master to produce accurate delivery estimates and manage the transition from analysis through to design and delivery- Provides progress updates to Scrum Master and the team to ensure the management of any delivery risks or concerns- Works with the team to plan future sprints, define stories and estimate efforts- Works on a range of projects involving the implementation of new and existing systems, solutions, and processes- Designs, implements, and maintains application code on various networks- Contributes in all phases of the software development life cycle- Writes well designed, testable, efficient code- Ensures designs are in compliance with specifications- Recommends changes to improve established application processes- Prepares and produces releases of software components- Writes automated unit test cases and evaluation code quality using automated tools- Writes automated integration test cases and resolves issues- Supports formal testing and resolves test defects- Provides technical support and consultation for application and infrastructure questions- Utilizes the customer's enterprise DevSecOps pipelineRequirements:- Experience using Python
