Python UI Developer

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement RESTful API integrations for Structured Products and Derivatives.
• Ensure seamless connectivity between internal and external trading platforms.
• Collaborate with various teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Design API contracts and data transformation frameworks.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization using industry standards.
• Create scalable distributed systems for high-volume trading.
• Establish monitoring and error handling frameworks for operational stability.
• Support the entire trade lifecycle from capture to processing.
• Engage in architecture and code reviews, and system optimization.
• Work with DevOps for deployment automation and platform reliability.
• Produce technical documentation and support procedures.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

• Experience in developing RESTful APIs and integration solutions.
• Proficiency in API design and management.
• Knowledge of OAuth2, Bearer Tokens, and API Key security.
• Strong understanding of JSON, XML, and API payloads.
• Skills in error handling, retry logic, and observability solutions.
• Experience with distributed and event-driven systems.
• Understanding of application security and communication protocols.
• Experience in cloud-enabled environments.

Capital Markets Experience

• Knowledge of Structured Products and Derivatives workflows.
• Understanding of the Trade Lifecycle.
• Experience with front-office trading platforms.
• Integration experience with platforms like SIMON, Luma, or HALO.

Soft Skills

• Effective collaboration with Trading, Sales, and Technology teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to deliver in fast-paced environments.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in investment banking or capital markets.
• Familiarity with structured products platforms.
• Knowledge of microservices and cloud-native patterns.
• Understanding of market data and risk platforms.
• Awareness of regulatory controls in financial services.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's preferred.
• Industry certifications are advantageous.
