JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will be responsible for supporting User Acceptance Technical Enterprise Testing required to develop and support Information System projects for the Medicaid Enterprise. Technical Testing team will be responsible for User Acceptance testing for Medicaid Enterprise applications and services in-depth, including inter-application communications layers, as well as data conversions and ETL processes for data warehousing . Specific responsibilities are technical User Acceptance Test execution, defect reporting and triage, test data creation, test data manipulation, test data verification, ad hoc business process test execution, as well as verification of application business and data base layer back-end processes. Back end process testing will consist of Interface testing between applications via data verification of business and database processes and batch execution, and will include data quality reviews, error handling, regression automation reviews, and adherence to Cloud governance policy and procedures. The Technical Quality Assurance Test Analyst will review System Integration back end test plans, test cases and test execution of System Integration Testing for projects, as well as the testing of interfaces with Interface Partners and other back end processes as they evolve. The Technical Test Analyst works collaboratively within the IT department and business units to execute and validate testing based upon system requirements, state and federal Medicaid policies and regulations.
The duties of this position are as follows:
Review and approval of high-level test scenarios based upon requirements and design documents.
Review and approval of functional and non-functional test cases
Execution of Test Case Scenarios and Cases
Creation and Execution of Ad Hoc User Acceptance test cases
Validation of test case results
Execution of Interface testing with Interface Partners
Extraction and building test data for test case execution
Manipulation of test data for test case execution
Execution of application interface testing
Verification of interface to batch and data processes
Verification of accuracy of data insertion and extraction
Execution of Data Conversion Testing
Peer review of UAT test execution
Validation of Test Case Requirement coverage
Execution of Test Cases
Defect Entry, Tracking and Root Cause Analysis
Support for Beta/Pilot testing if and where applicable.
As needed, collaborate with automation architects, system architects, developers, test leads, and business subject matter experts to develop and execute automated tests for the UAT automated test suite(s).
Collaborate with extended team for ideas to enhance test suites
