Job Title: QA Analyst
Location:3 days a week onsite to Brookfield, WI
Duration: 6month contract potential to hire

Position Overview

This is a QA/Test Analyst opportunity supporting business-critical banking systems. The role differs from traditional software QA because the team is primarily testing and validating vendor-based, highly configurable applications rather than internally developed software.
The ideal candidate will have a strong testing mindset and be comfortable partnering directly with business users to understand workflows, requirements, and system behavior.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Test and validate changes made within vendor software platforms.
  • Work closely with Business Analysts (Client) and business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
  • Learn how different business lines utilize banking data and systems.
  • Validate system configurations, product setups, job changes, and process updates.
  • Perform end-to-end testing across core banking and adjacent systems.
  • Develop and execute test scenarios based on business needs and requirements.
  • Collaborate with business users to understand expected outcomes and ensure system functionality aligns with operational needs.
  • Support testing efforts for integrated systems and interfaces.

Ideal Background
  • QA professional with strong business-facing skills.
  • Business Analyst background with hands-on testing experience is highly desirable.
  • Someone who enjoys facilitating conversations with stakeholders and understanding business processes.
  • Experience testing software without necessarily being involved in software development.

Preferred Technical Experience

High Priority
  • Client DNA (Core Banking Platform) major plus and considered the team's "bread and butter. "
  • Core banking operations experience.

Additional Desired Skills
  • Integration testing experience.
  • API testing experience.
  • SharePoint administration/support.
  • Microsoft Teams experience.
  • Experience with:
  • Faxing systems
  • Automic automation platform (used for running DNA jobs)
