Job Description:

• The QA Analyst is responsible for developing and executing software test plans to identify software issues and ensure product quality across web and mobile applications.
• The role involves designing test cases, executing manual and automated testing, documenting defects, and collaborating with engineering, cross-functional, and offshore teams to deliver high-quality software releases.
• The ideal candidate will leverage modern QA practices, including AI-assisted tools, to improve testing efficiency and overall software quality.

Responsibilities:

• Design test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, and testing procedures.
• Execute testing for system modifications prior to implementation.
• Develop testing programs covering database impacts, software functionality, usability, and application workflows.
• Document software defects using bug tracking tools and communicate findings to development teams.
• Identify, analyze, and document issues related to application functionality, output, user interface, and content.
• Monitor defect resolution efforts and validate fixes through regression testing.
• Create and maintain repositories of known software defects.
• Develop test schedules and execution strategies aligned with project timelines and deliverables.
• Maintain test artifacts, including test plans, test cases, and test suites, following established QA standards.
• Coordinate testing activities with offshore QA teams to ensure timely execution and quality deliverables.
• Perform targeted regression testing when required.
• Explore and implement AI-assisted workflows to improve test design, execution, defect triage, documentation, and reporting.

Experience:

• Experience developing and executing software test plans for web and mobile applications.
• Experience with manual and automated software testing methodologies.
• Experience working with offshore QA teams in a collaborative environment.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
• Experience using Python and JavaScript for automation or scripting.
• Practical experience using AI tools to improve QA workflows, including test case generation, defect triage, documentation, and workflow automation.
• Experience with light scripting for test data setup, automation, or AI-assisted tooling is preferred.
• Demonstrated interest in emerging AI technologies and their application within software quality assurance.
