Job Overview

Are you passionate about ensuring exceptional product quality in AI-powered experiences? Do you thrive in environments where technology evolves rapidly and quality standards must keep pace with innovation?

The team is seeking a highly technical QA Analyst III to support next-generation AI products and experiences. In this role, you will work closely with software engineers, QA leads, and cross-functional stakeholders to validate AI-driven features across web and mobile platforms. You will own quality execution through a combination of manual testing, automation development, bug triage, release readiness assessments, and quality metrics reporting.

The ideal candidate combines strong automation expertise with a deep understanding of software quality principles and the ability to test AI features with non-deterministic outputs.

As an QA Contractor, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality by executing and improving test processes, collaborating with engineering and QA leads, and supporting the delivery of high-quality features. This role is designed for individuals who can operate independently, contribute to test strategy, and take ownership of execution within defined scopes.

Job Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Testing

  • Execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases for new and existing product features.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance UI and API automation frameworks.
  • Create detailed test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
  • Validate functionality across web, mobile (iOS/Android), and backend services.
  • Lead testing efforts for small-to-medium-sized product releases.

AI Product Validation

  • Test AI-powered features where outputs may vary between executions.
  • Define repeatable validation strategies for non-deterministic AI experiences.
  • Identify edge cases, performance issues, and user-impacting defects.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve AI quality and reliability.

Bug Investigation & Resolution

  • Reproduce, document, and triage software defects.
  • Partner closely with engineering teams to prioritize and resolve issues.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and contribute to continuous quality improvements.

Quality Strategy & Metrics

  • Support test strategy development and quality planning.
  • Build and maintain dashboards tracking quality metrics, release readiness, and test progress.
  • Conduct product audits and bug audits to identify quality gaps and improve coverage.
  • Provide release-readiness recommendations and quality risk assessments.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Participate in status meetings and communicate quality risks effectively.
  • Represent QA when required and drive quality-focused discussions.
  • Work directly with engineering and product teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Support highly confidential projects requiring exceptional attention to detail.

Must Have Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience.
  • Experience with both Manual Testing and Test Automation.
  • Strong experience in UI Automation and API Automation.
  • Experience reading, understanding, and debugging code.
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
  • Experience creating and executing test plans and test cases.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing frameworks, and SDLC processes.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Experience testing AI-powered applications or machine learning-driven features

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience testing consumer-facing applications or social products.
  • Experience building quality dashboards and reporting metrics.
  • Experience supporting mobile applications across iOS and Android.
  • Experience validating AI/LLM features with non-deterministic outputs.
  • Familiarity with benchmarking, regression, performance, or battery testing.
  • Experience working with globally distributed engineering teams.
  • Exposure to fast-paced product development environments
