Title: Q.A. Analyst / Jr. TesterLocation: Nashville, TN – Hybrid , 7.5 hrs per day ,CSTDuration: 15 Months – W2 Contract 

Job Description

Our Client is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst/Tester to support testing and modernization initiatives. The QA Analyst/Tester will support and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and work as part of an Agile/Scrum project team.

The ideal candidate will have experience with both manual and automated testing and be comfortable creating and executing test cases, developing automation scripts, and working with technical and business users.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead UAT testing activities for modernization applications.
• Create, document, and execute manual test cases.
• Create and execute automated test scripts to improve test coverage and reduce repetitive testing.
• Work closely with users and business teams to understand requirements and testing needs.
• Participate as part of an Agile/Scrum project team.
• Perform API and application testing.
• Support testing of modernized applications and ServiceNow applications.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Selenium, or similar automation tools.
• Use Jira and Zephyr for Jira for test management and defect tracking.
• Perform database testing using SQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Support accessibility testing, including ADA/Section 508 requirements.
• Support AI-powered testing initiatives and emerging QA technologies.
• Analyze application workflows and process flows to identify potential issues.
• Document defects, test results, and testing progress.
• Collaborate with developers, business users, and other QA team members to resolve issues.
• Support testing activities across multiple applications and modernization projects.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Experience creating and executing manual test cases.
• Experience creating and executing automation test scripts.
• Experience with Jira and Zephyr for Jira.
• Experience with SQL and database testing.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or similar relational databases.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn new applications, tools, and testing technologies.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to analyze application and process flows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Selenium, Tricentis Tosca, or other automation testing tools.
• Experience with MySQL.
• Experience with ServiceNow application testing.
• Experience with API and performance testing.
• Experience with ADA/Section 508 accessibility testing.
• Experience with AI-powered testing tools or AI-assisted QA practices.
• Experience with SSRS.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Experience supporting modernization projects.
