We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for modern web applications, APIs, and distributed systems. The ideal candidate will also have exposure to AI-assisted testing and modern DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright.
Create and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test suites.
Develop automated testing strategies for web applications, APIs, and microservices.
Perform load and performance testing using JMeter.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and architects throughout the SDLC.
Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and quality gates.
Explore and leverage AI-assisted testing tools and practices to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
Troubleshoot automation failures and continuously improve test frameworks and processes.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in QA and Test Automation.
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
Experience testing web applications, APIs, and distributed systems.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or similar programming languages.
Experience with CI/CD tools and automated testing in modern DevOps environments.
Experience with API testing tools and frameworks.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in banking, financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries.
Exposure to AI technologies, AI-assisted software development, or AI-driven test automation.
Experience with JMeter and performance/load testing.
Experience with TestComplete or similar automated testing tools.
Familiarity with cloud environments and modern application architectures.
