Duration: 06+ Months with Possible Extension.
Pay Range: $45-$48/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with 6 8 years of experience in test automation for modern web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Playwright, Selenium (Java), TOSCA, API testing, and CI/CD integration. The candidate should be capable of designing scalable automation frameworks, executing comprehensive test strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright for web applications.
• Develop and enhance Java-based Selenium automation scripts and reusable test components.
• Create and execute automated test cases using Tricentis TOSCA for model-based/codeless testing.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automation testing.
• Develop scalable, maintainable, and reusable automation test suites.
• Execute API testing and backend validation using REST APIs and automation tools.
• Design and manage test data required for automated test execution.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
• Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with Development, DevOps, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Prepare automation reports, test metrics, and quality dashboards.
• Contribute to automation strategy, framework enhancements, and QA best practices.

Required Skills

• 6 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation for modern web applications.
• Expertise in Java-based Selenium Automation Frameworks.
• Experience with Tricentis TOSCA automation (model-based/codeless testing).
• Strong programming skills in Core Java.
• Knowledge of Python for automation scripting is preferred.
• Experience with API Testing (REST/SOAP) and backend validation.
• Strong understanding of automation framework design and maintenance.
• Experience with test data management and automation utilities.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or other CI/CD tools.
• Experience using defect management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance or cross-browser testing.
• Knowledge of cloud-based test execution platforms.
• Experience working with Docker or containerized testing environments.
• ISTQB Certification is a plus.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and continuous testing strategies.
