Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Robot Framework and Python, along with proven experience developing automation frameworks, executing automated tests, debugging failures, and performing defect analysis.

The candidate will work closely with development, QA, and other technical teams to enhance automation coverage, improve test reliability, and ensure the quality of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Robot Framework and Python.
• Develop and maintain scalable, reusable, and reliable test automation frameworks.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify failures and defects.
• Debug automation scripts, test failures, environment issues, and data-related problems.
• Perform detailed defect analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause identification.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to investigate and resolve application defects.
• Create and maintain automated regression and functional test suites.
• Improve test automation coverage, execution efficiency, stability, and maintainability.
• Participate in test planning, test case development, execution, reporting, and release validation.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
• Document test results, defects, automation improvements, and troubleshooting findings.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation standards, and testing methodologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in QA, software testing, or test automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be willing to work onsite in Middletown, NJ.
• Must be available for an in-person interview.
