Job Role: IT QA BIDM Tester
Contract terms: 6-month contract-to-hire
Pay rate: up to $55/hour
Conversion Salary (if applicable): $90,000-120,000

The QA Tester will ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of Business Intelligence and Data Management (BIDM) solutions within a Property and Casualty insurance environment. This role focuses on validating data workflows, reporting systems, and analytics tools to support regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for BIDM applications, data pipelines, and reporting platforms.
Validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across ETL processes, data warehouses, and BI dashboards.
Perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing for new features and system enhancements.
Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, and business stakeholders to identify defects and ensure timely resolution.
Document test results, track issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of QA standards and processes.
Qualifications
Experience in QA testing ideally within Property and Casualty insurance for other regulated industries.
Strong understanding of BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), in-depth SQL experience required, and data validation techniques.
Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and ETL testing.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
