QA Document Coordinator

Department: Quality Assurance

Reports To: Quality Manager

Location: Fenton, MO

Employment Type: Full-Time/ Temp to Hire

Pay: $25-28/hr

Position Summary

The QA Document Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) by ensuring quality documentation, records, and processes remain accurate, compliant, and up to date. This position is responsible for document control activities, employee training record management, quality system support, and coordination of quality-related documentation efforts.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing documentation within a regulated or quality-focused environment. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to support compliance, continuous improvement initiatives, and overall quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain Quality Assurance goals and objectives.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and assist in resolving quality-related issues.
  • Monitor Quality Assurance activities, including:
    • Training records
    • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
    • SOP Batch Records (SOPBRs)
    • Quality Management System (QMS) documents
    • Change controls
    • Customer feedback records
  • Follow and support established procedures within the Quality Management System.
  • Coordinate and maintain employee training records and training compliance requirements.
  • Review, revise, update, and control quality documents.
  • Create new documentation, SOPs, forms, and SOPBRs as needed.
  • Maintain document control systems and ensure proper version control.
  • Monitor equipment records and coordinate equipment maintenance documentation.
  • Review shipment documentation to ensure quality and compliance requirements are met.
  • Stay current on quality regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Support audits, inspections, and compliance-related activities.
  • Assist with continuous improvement projects and corrective action documentation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned within and outside the department.

Required

  • Minimum of Associate degree in Science, Biology, Chemistry, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a documentation, document control, quality assurance, or regulated environment role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience working within a Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Experience reviewing and maintaining SOPs and controlled documents.
  • Knowledge of change control processes, employee training records, and quality documentation practices.
  • Experience supporting audits or compliance programs.
  • Background in manufacturing, laboratory, pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology, or other regulated industries.
