IDR is seeking a QA Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, Texas.
This role is with a leading technology organization specializing in administrative software solutions. The QA Engineer will be responsible for developing automated and manual test cases, supporting various phases of testing, and ensuring the quality of software products through rigorous testing methodologies. The company values innovation and continuous improvement in its software development processes.
Position Overview for the QA Engineer:
- Responsible for creating and maintaining automated test cases using Playwright or similar tools
- Perform manual testing and track execution and defect logging in Jira
- Support development teams across development, testing, UAT, and production environments
- Lead UAT testing activities as needed and troubleshoot test cases
- Support on-call testing activities as required
Requirements for the QA Engineer:
- 10+ years of manual test script execution experience
- 8+ years of automated QA testing experience
- 8+ years of QA test script creation experience
- 5+ years of performance testing experience
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, Playwright, WebdriverIO, or JMeter
