AtWork Personnel is seeking an experienced QA Engineer Automated 3 for a hybrid contract opportunity supporting a Texas state agency in Austin. This position will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions while supporting functional, application, and regression testing efforts for complex enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience creating automated test scripts, developing test plans and test cases, executing testing strategies, and collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and testing processes
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, test data, and test environments
• Perform functional, application, integration, and regression testing
• Analyze applications and develop software regression suites
• Review requirements and update testing documentation accordingly
• Troubleshoot and debug software defects and testing issues
• Prepare detailed analyses, verification procedures, diagrams, and testing documentation
• Support project teams through all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Work directly with business users and stakeholders during testing cycles
• Coordinate testing activities across technical and non-technical teams
• Manage multiple testing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing and implementing automated testing solutions
• 8+ years of experience creating automated test scripts and execution plans
• 8+ years of experience developing test plans, test cases, and test environments
• 8+ years of experience performing functional, application, and regression testing
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies
• Ability to interpret business and technical requirements and translate them into test cases
• Experience with analysis, planning, and management reporting functions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework (PDF) and associated documentation templates
• Familiarity with enterprise information architecture and information management methodologies
• Familiarity with software architecture, infrastructure components, and enterprise technology environments
