The Role ----------

Veeva Systems is seeking a functional QA Engineer to join the Vault CRM team. This is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our enterprise SaaS product.

What Youll Do -------------

  • Create and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
  • Document test execution results in the designated test case management application.
  • Conduct QA tests and verify outcomes according to project schedules and timelines.
  • Identify defects and explain them within the defect tracking system.
  • Collaborate with the automation group to increase regression coverage for new and existing features.
  • Acquire and maintain detailed knowledge of the product suite.
  • Work in an Agile team environment alongside software engineers and product managers.

Requirements ------------

  • 3 years of experience as a functional QA Engineer in the United States.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate within an Agile framework with a focus on efficiency and quality.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Software QA methodologies, including black box and grey box testing.
  • Experience writing test cases for sanity, boundary, negative compatibility, and concurrency testing.
  • Technical knowledge of web, mobile, and desktop application testing.
  • Experience executing SQL database queries.
  • Experience with API testing tools, such as Postman.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering Sciences or equivalent professional experience.
  • Must reside in the Pacific or Mountain Time Zones.
  • Must have unrestricted right to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.

Nice to Have -------------

  • Experience in a SaaS environment with Agile development processes.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and TestRail.

  • Compensation: Base pay $70,000 - $120,000.
