QA Inspector Houston TX 77008

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Inspector to support quality assurance operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing inspections, testing, and documentation to ensure products meet required specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate has experience in fastener inspection, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work within established quality systems.

QA Inspector Houston TX 77008 Job Duties:

Perform inspections, testing, and basic calibrations on products and equipment
Inspect fasteners and components to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
Prepare and maintain quality assurance documentation in accordance with company and laboratory requirements
Review and interpret work instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines
Complete inspection reports, logs, and other required documentation accurately
Identify and report nonconforming materials and assist with corrective actions
Work closely with production and quality teams to maintain product integrity
Maintain a clean and organized inspection area while following all safety procedures

QA Inspector Requirements Houston TX 77008 Requirements:

High school diploma with at least 3 years of quality assurance experience, including 2 years in fastener inspection and documentation, OR
GED with 4 years of related QA experience
Experience with fastener testing and inspection processes preferred
Familiarity with ISO standards and quality systems (ISO 9000 / ISO Guide 25 preferred)
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using fractions and decimals
Ability to write routine reports and maintain accurate records
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and reaching
Steel-toe shoes required
Clean-cut appearance required (no visible tattoos)
No felonies in the last 3 years, no violent felonies ever
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

Pay: $20.00 DOE
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
