Summary
The Quality Assurance Inspector, Packaging is responsible for performing in-process auditing of packaging, inspecting labels, packaging components and finished product to ensure conformance to specification.

Physical Demands
Training
Standard Operating Procedures training is required initially as a new hire, annually, and as SOPs are updated, annual HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practice training requirement with assessment.
Decision Making
Employee will make decisions related to packaging products to ensure conformance with component and batch record specifications.
Communication
Strong communication skills - both written and verbal.
Results of Action
Employee inspection will help determine whether the product is acceptable for production use and/or shipment.
Equipment Used
Computer, printer, label counter, pallet jack, sampling tools, scales and hydraulic carts.
Work Environment
Production facility exposed to moving mechanical parts, computerized equipment, forklifts, and heavy pallets, moderate to loud noise level and air-borne dust and powders. While working, Employees will be required to wear various personal protective equipment (e.g. gowning, hair net, face mask, gloves, goggles, etc.).
